Analysis and comparison

What can font analysis reveal?

A font file contains far more than visible glyphs. A typical OpenType font includes the name table (family, designer, license), the OS/2 table (weight, x-height, cap-height, embedding permissions), the head table (units per em, bounding box), the cmap table (character-to-glyph mapping), and often the fvar table for variable fonts. These tools expose all of that data in readable form.

Use font analysis to verify licensing before commercial use, check whether a font supports a specific language, confirm a font is a real font file and not a corrupted download, or inspect variable-font axes to know what weights are available.

Important: These tools identify fonts from uploaded font files. They do NOT identify fonts from images — that would require a separate image recognition system. If you have a font installed or a font file, upload it here. If you only have a screenshot, this tool cannot help.
