Character Map
Browse every character in a font file with its Unicode codepoint and glyph name. Search by name or codepoint to find exactly the character you need.
What is a character map?
A character map shows the visible characters (glyphs) contained in a font, each with its Unicode codepoint. It is the fastest way to confirm exactly what characters a font contains before you commit to using it in a project.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a character map and a glyph viewer?
A character map shows characters with their Unicode codepoints. A glyph viewer renders every shape, including alternates and ligatures that have no Unicode codepoint.
Can I copy characters?
Yes. Click any character cell to copy the character to clipboard. The codepoint is shown for reference.
Why are some Unicode blocks empty?
The font only contains glyphs for the blocks it supports. Empty ranges mean the font does not include those characters and will fall back to another font at render time.
